Introduction of Golestan Palace

Golestan Palace consists of different parts such as the Marble Throne Porch, Hall of Salam, Hall of Aineh, Dining Hall and Khlot Karimkhani, Berlian Hall as well as Badgir Mansion, Shams-ul-Amara Palace, Almas Hall and Abyez Palace.


Among the oldest parts of Golestan Palace, we can mention the Marble Throne Porch and the Karimkhani Retreat, which belong to the Karimkhan Zand era. In addition to the mentioned buildings and parts, the Golestan Palace complex consists of various other parts such as the manuscript library, the center of visual documents, the center of handwritten documents as well as international affairs, the print library and cultural affairs, the children and adolescents unit and the law office unit.
