A reminder of America's defeat in Tabas

American trained commandos left for Egypt at the end of December 1358 and were stationed at a base near Cairo. The order to carry out this operation was issued by Carter, the president of the United States at the time, announcing the code word "go" and in the evening of Thursday 4th of May 1358. The operation began.

According to Isna, the story of the American attack on Tabas actually began on November 13, 1979 (November 4, 1979); When "Muslim students following the line of the Imam" attacked the American embassy in Tehran and took 53 Americans hostage. Considering that the Carter administration could not release the American hostages through diplomatic means, the special unit "Delta Force" of the American armed forces , got a mission to free American hostages in a commando operation and bring them back to America.

"Eagle Claw" operational plan

One month after the capture of the American espionage nest in Tehran, 90 American commandos called "Delta" under the command of Colonel "Charlie Beckwith" and Major "Meadows" went to the state of Arizona, America, to carry out the "Eagle Claw" operation, which almost resembles the desert conditions of Iran. They were sent to complete the last stages of training and training under similar conditions. On the other hand, a special secret group secretly entered Iran and made contacts with anti-revolutionary groups to support and provide additional equipment for the operation plan.

To carry out this operation, 6 C-130 and 90 planes of the American trained commando called "Delta Force" were transferred from Cairo to the American aircraft carrier in the Oman Sea.

In this way, the American forces left for Tabas from the Persian Gulf, but after settling in the Tabas desert and before moving to Tehran, they were hit by a sandstorm and were unable to continue their mission. Of course, in this regard, "Miles Copeland", one of the former agents of the American intelligence service and one of the people involved in the coup on August 28, 1332 in Iran, believes: "The goal of the Tabas invasion was not only the release of the hostages, but the coup to overthrow the Iranian regime was the main goal of this operation."

Sands are the messenger of God

Imam Khomeini (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) in the same days, during an important message they issued regarding the open military attack of the United States, pointed out this subtle point: "Shouldn't they wake up, those who don't pay attention to spirituality and don't believe in this unseen? Shouldn't they wake up? become Who shot down the helicopter of Mr. Carter who wanted to come to Iran? did we crash The sand fell. The sands were the messengers of God. The wind is God's messenger. The wind destroyed the people of Ad; This wind is God's messenger. These sands are all agents. Let them experience it again.
